How AstroNest Works

AstroNest uses a deterministic Jyotish computation engine to calculate your chart and timing from your birth data. An AI language model then narrates these computed facts into a readable response — the engine, not the AI, determines the astrology in your reading.

Reading narration: an OpenAI language model translates engine-computed facts into readable guidance.

Quality assurance: Anthropic Claude is used for quality review and to generate optional weekly summaries that personalise future guidance.

Birth time sensitivity: Timing calculations are highly sensitive to birth time. A difference of a few minutes can shift timing windows by weeks or months. We recommend using your birth certificate time for most accurate results.

Language: English only at this time.

Domain coverage: 14 life areas supported. Coverage depth varies by area.

Cultural scope: Classical Vedic/Jyotish framework. Western astrology is not supported.

We evaluate reading quality continuously against a private corpus of classical Jyotish questions spanning 14 life areas. Results inform ongoing improvements to our engine and narration. These checks measure consistency against our own editorial standards, not real-world predictive accuracy.
